The faculty members of the Department of Turkish Education of our faculty came together on 13.04.2023 at 10.00 in the Dean's meeting room and completed the work of updating the program outcomes of the Department of Turkish Education. In the meeting, it was decided to enter 27 program outcomes, which were updated in total and agreed upon by reading them one by one, into the system and to update the course learning outcomes in other meetings to be held in this context. |
| 03 | 2023/03 | April 7 | DEPARTMENT OF TURKISH EDUCATION HELD ITS SECOND MEETING ON KAP AND BOLOGNA PROCESSES | Following the information meeting chaired by our University Quality Coordinator, Professor Dr. Mustafa Şanal, the faculty members of the Department of Turkish Education convened on April 7, 2023, to begin creating, revising, and updating the department’s program outcomes within the scope of the Bologna Process. At the next meeting (April 11), the final version of the program outcomes will be approved, and data entries for each course will be completed. |
| 02 | 2023/02 | March 30 | AN INFORMATION MEETING WAS HELD FOR THE INSTRUCTORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TURKISH EDUCATION ON KAP AND BOLOGNA PROCESSES |
Within our faculty, work continues under the guidance of the Accreditation, Academic Assessment, and Quality Coordination Office as part of the Bologna and program accreditation processes. In this context, a meeting was held on March 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Faculty of Education meeting hall with the Department of Turkish Education for program accreditation and Bologna process activities. During the meeting, the Faculty Dean and also the Coordinator of Accreditation, Academic Assessment, and Quality, Professor Dr. Mustafa Şanal, along with Coordination members Lecturer Dr. Hakan Sipahi and Lecturer Osman Serdal Karapınar, provided information to the faculty members regarding the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) and the Bologna process within the scope of program accreditation. As a result of the approximately two-hour meeting, consensus was reached on updating the program outcomes of the Department of Turkish Education and revising the learning outcomes accordingly. It was also decided to hold these meetings repeatedly throughout the process. |

In collaboration with our Faculty and the University Quality Community, a conference titled “Youth Career Journey” was held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 10:00 to 12:00. The event took place at our University’s Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall, where our Faculty Vice Dean, Associate Professor Bünyamin Çetinkaya, participated as a speaker. As part of our faculty’s program accreditation preparation efforts, training sessions for all stakeholder groups continue. The event began with an opening speech by Giresun University Quality Community Academic Advisor, Lecturer Dr. Firdevs İclal Karataş Aydın, and continued with a conference by Associate Professor Bünyamin Çetinkaya on guiding youth in planning their career goals. The event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the speaker by the Vice Rector, Professor Dr. Güven Özdem. |
