The Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, attended the 2nd THEQC International Conference on Quality Assurance and Accreditation, organized by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC – YÖKAK) on September 14–15, 2026, at the Davutpaşa Congress Center of Yıldız Technical University.

Held under the theme “Quality Assurance Systems and Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Transformation Process,” the conference addressed key issues, including the development of quality assurance systems in higher education, micro-credentials, student participation in quality assurance processes, ESG 2027 initiatives, the future of program accreditation, and the role of artificial intelligence in quality assurance.

Throughout the two-day conference, sessions and panel discussions were held with the participation of national and international experts. Current approaches, institutional practices, and experiences aimed at strengthening the quality culture in higher education were shared with participants.

The participation of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge and experience sharing, contributing to the continued development of quality assurance and accreditation activities at our Faculty in line with current developments.
