      The Student Quality Commission supports students’ active participation in quality assurance, decision-making, monitoring and improvement processes, and helps ensure that student views and suggestions inform the Faculty’s quality activities.

      Duties and Responsibilities
      • Identify students’ views, suggestions and expectations regarding teaching, learning and quality processes.
      • Communicate student feedback to the relevant academic and administrative units.
      • Support student participation in quality assurance, accreditation and continuous improvement activities.
      • Develop improvement proposals concerning student satisfaction, accessibility, social and cultural activities, and campus life.
      • Help communicate decisions and improvement activities that affect students.
      • Monitor matters identified through the Commission’s activities and evaluate their outcomes.
      Annual Work Plan
      September – October
      Planned Activity: Determine the Commission’s priorities and collect student views.
      Responsible: Chair, deputy chairs and members
      Expected Output: Annual work plan and priority list
      November
      Planned Activity: Prepare views and suggestions for meetings between the Dean and students, and between department heads and students.
      Responsible: Commission members and student representatives
      Expected Output: Student feedback and improvement proposals
      December – January
      Planned Activity: Evaluate student feedback from the fall semester.
      Responsible: Commission and relevant units
      Expected Output: Summary of evaluations and recommendations
      February – March
      Planned Activity: Plan spring semester priorities and student participation activities.

      April – May
      Planned Activity: Participate in quality and accreditation activities through student representatives and monitor improvements.

      Planned Activity: Conduct an overall evaluation of annual activities and student feedback.
