Kapsayıcı Eğitim dersini yürüten Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Melike Günbey ve Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Eray Kara ‘Özel öğrencilerin öğretim etkinliklerine dâhil edilmesi’ konulu dersleri kapsamında Komenda College of Education Gana’da öğretim görevlisi olarak çalışmış ve şu anda Kanada – University of British Columbia öğretim elemanlarından Sandra Tsoenemawu Sikanku’yu misafir etmişlerdir. 7.11.2023 tarihli ders kapsamında Sikanku, görme engelli öğrencilerde karşılaşılabilecek engel türlerini tanıtmış, alternatif öğretim yöntemleri sunarak, farklılaştırılmış öğrenme ortamları ve değerlendirme ile ilgili bilgiler paylaşmıştır.
Kendisi ile işbirliği ve projelerimizin devam edeceğini bildirir, Sayın Sikanku’ya kıymetli paylaşımları için teşekkür ederiz.
Conducting the Inclusive Education course, Dr. Melike Günbey and Dr. Eray Kara, hosted Sandra Tsoenemawu Sikanku, a former lecturer from Komenda College of Education Ghana, and now a PhD student at the University of British Columbia, within the scope of their course on 'Inclusion of special students in teaching activities'. During the online course on 7th Nov. 2023, Ms Sikanku introduced the types of disabilities that may be encountered in visually impaired students, presented alternative teaching methods, and shared information about differentiated learning environments and evaluation methods.
We would like to inform that our cooperation and projects with Ms Sikanku will continue and thank her for his valuable sharing.
